Mountain View from Itch to Stitch

Mountain View from Itch to Stitch is my new best friend! Pull on jeans in stretch denim with a wide waistband, topstitching and pockets, stretch fabric and straight legs, but no zipper or button. They look like regular jeans, but they are sooo comfortable and they will stay in place and not let you down. Who dosen’t need a friend like that??

Mountain View fra Itch to Stitch er min nye bedste ven! Pull-on jeans i stræk-denim med bred linning, pyntestikninger og lommer, strækstof og lige ben, men uden lynlås og knap. De ligner rigtige jeans, men de er sååå komfortable og de bliver siddende hvor de skal. Hvem har ikke brug for sådan en ven??

I made a straight size 10 and only did very little fitting. I added the, for me, usual 0,5cm extra room in the thighs and took out the same amount of fabric horizontally from the back thigh.
For my definitely wearable muslin, I used a brushed cotton twill with 3% lycra. They are very soft and comfortable. The only downside is, that the softness from the fabric being brushed, seems to be a magnet to lint.
My second pair is made from a dark denim with the appropriate amount of stretch. They are supposed to be made with fabric with a least 20-30% stretch. Both of mine is just shy of 30%. With the denim pair I also took in 1cm in each side at the bottom of the legs.

Jeg har syet en str 10 med ganske lidt tilretning. Jeg har lagt 0,5cm til ved inderlårerne, standard for mig, og taget 0,5cm af længden på baglåret.
Min prøvemodel er syet i en børstet bomuldstwill med 3% lycra. De er super bløde og behagelige, men de tiltrækker fnuller som en magnet.
Mit andet par er syet i en mørk denim med den rette mængde stræk. Der skal helst være 20-30% stræk. Begge mine stoffer har haft lige under 30%. På denim bukserne har jeg også syet dem ca 1 cm ind i hver side.

When sewing Mountain View you have a great opportunity to play with the design on the pockets. I usually make my pocket designs pretty straight forward, but there are so many fun and beautiful designs for pockets. Just do google or Pinterest search or see some of the other testers designs. Very inspirational.

I can definitely see myself making heaps more Mountain View in the future💕

Når man syr Mountain View har man virkelig mulighed for at lege med designet på lommerne. Jeg laver dem sædvanligvis ret kedelige, men der er så mange sjove og flotte muligheder. Prøv bare at søge på google eller Pinterest eller se nogle af de andre testere af Mountain View. Meget inspirerende.
